The Houston Muslim American Business Bureau (H-MABB) is a nonprofit organization that helps consumers find pro-Muslim, pro-Arab, and pro-Palestinian businesses, service-providers and charities that are ethical, equitable and community-centered. Founded in 2024 by Sania Rahim and Naureen Kamdar Mohammed, the H-MABB is dedicated to fostering honest and ethical relationships between businesses and the public, operating in the Greater Houston, Texas area.
The Bureau aims to serve as a trusted resource for consumers, investors, and businesses, offering a certification system that reflects a commitment to values such as integrity, inclusivity, and cultural respect to marginalized communities. By recognizing and supporting ethical
business practices, H-MABB fosters a thriving business community that aligns with the principles and values significant to Muslim and allied communities, such as fairness, mutual respect, and social responsibility.
